A Perfect House for a Month July 2021 Thank you to Sandra for truly the most incredible month at her house in Umbria. After so much uncertainty with Covid and the possibility to even travel to Italy, Sandra was so helpful and informative before we arrived and in helping us settle in. Once reaching the house, it manages to be even more picturesque and welcoming than the photos can suggest. It’s such a special property, a considerate and tastefully designed interior that’s spacious and light. In spite of the heat (it was >35° many of the days we were there), the house stays cool throughout. It opens seamlessly to the pergola terrace and table where we enjoyed many great meals as a group, and of course, the garden and pool with views over the countryside. Being down a country track, there really is no one around and you have total peace and quiet in all directions. It’s the perfect place to escape from the world, while still only being 10 minutes drive from supermarkets, shops, and lots of excellent restaurants. We stayed here for a full month as a big group of friends and everything was flawless. The house is wonderful, ready and stocked with every convenience you might need and so relaxing to spend time indoors or out. Several of us were also working on some days, and the Wifi and 4G connection is good enough for modern remote work. The local area has endless things to do – charming old towns, markets, the lake, vineyards and. more. And Sandra was a fantastic and welcoming host, helping with all of our questions along the way and lots of tips to make the most of the region. We’ll miss the place a lot, and hope to be back one day, would completely recommend the house to anyone looking for a break in the Umbrian/Tuscan area. London, United Kingdom
